I’m experimenting with Google VEO 3 to create a concept ad for the BYD Convertible. To be clear, this is purely an experiment, not an official projec,t and it’s simply a follow-up to what I shared earlier.
In this pre-visualization session, I fed a few simple prompts into VEO 3 and waited to see what came out. The result is a raw, rough visual draft with no full narrative, no music, and no post-production polish. But that’s exactly where the power of this experiment lies: I can immediately feel how VEO 3 builds tone, pacing, and visual direction, as if laying the foundation for a real campaign. This process reminds me of using CapCut and Runway on my previous project. While the technologies are different, the goal is the same: extracting the core of the story before diving into editing and motion graphics.
Although this imagined BYD Convertible will never actually exist or go to market, the experience has opened my eyes to AI’s potential to accelerate brainstorming. Instead of spending hours on manual sketches or traditional mood boards, we can get a basic visual outline with just a few sentences of a prompt. Of course, the next step is to share these findings with the production team, from storyboard discussions to choosing the right music or voice-over.
To anyone curious about Google VEO 3: I highly encourage you to experiment. Try feeding simple prompts related to your own brand, whether it’s electric vehicles, beauty products, or tech solutions, and see how AI helps you “sketch the future” before you even start production. Don’t be afraid of rough, raw experiments; often, that’s where the most brilliant ideas emerge!
I hope my experience inspires you to keep exploring, stay humble in the learning process, and yet remain bold in your big dreams.

I’m Arigold (Ariadi Catur Wibisono Lerrick), a visual storyteller and creative designer from Indonesia. I believe stories are bridges connecting emotion, imagination, and technology. My journey began with curiosity about how far creativity could go when combined with intelligence beyond human limits. Now, I explore the fusion of AI and visual storytelling, crafting cinematic experiences where machines help amplify the depth of human emotion. For me, AI isn’t here to replace creativity it’s here to redefine how we create. Every project I make is an experiment in that harmony: between logic and feeling, code and soul, art and data.
