An elderly man in his seventies lives alone, surrounded by routines shaped by silence. His days unfold slowly, marked by repetition and absence. Public spaces pass around him without contact, and time seems to move at a different pace.
One day, outside his home, he encounters a black cat with intense yellow eyes. The animal does not flee. It remains, observing, returning, slowly becoming part of the man’s daily life. Their bond forms without words, through proximity, shared spaces and quiet gestures.
As the cat settles into his world, the man’s solitude begins to shift. The house changes, the streets feel different, and small connections emerge. What begins as a story of isolation becomes a story of presence, where companionship opens a path back to human connection.
